Still On Track

First Cuddle

by Kirsten Harty

Bill C-484 (Unborn Victims of Crime Act) is making its way through the Parliamentary legislation system.  Wednesday night, 147 MP's voted in favor of passing it along to Committee for additional scrutiny and debate.  This is good news for Canadians, especially for women who want to protect their unborn babies from violence.  Thank you to everyone who prayed and to all our MP's who voted in favor of this Bill!!

Our work is not finished however, because for this bill to become final, it still must pass a third reading in the House and then make it through the Senate.   So, please, continue to pray through to the final victory!

Live video of the vote can be seen here (are you in favor with how your MP voted?), as well as a press release from Ken Epp's office: http://www.4mycanada.ca/

Knowing what the Word says about God's Will for us individually and corporately is an important tool that Holy Spirit can use to bring us to an understanding of how we can apply this tool to our lives. It gives us vision and order. Our priorities become His priorities and we are then able to sustain a life of prayer for our communities as He gives us endurance and patience with joy.
