National March for Life

It's a three day event, but the main public piece occurs on the Hill Thursday at noon.  A number of MPs - and their families standing alongside - share their hearts about the issue of defending life.  This year Dr. Alveda King (niece of Dr. Martin Luther King) will also be addressing the March for Life (as well as the youth conference the next day).

The March through downtown begins at 1:30 pm, then at 2:45 pm back on the Hill, some heartfelt testimonies from those who've had abortions.... finishing up by 4 pm.

I encourage local readers to attend the event... your presence is a powerful message to our government of the need for legislation protecting the unborn.
